Zoom is a cloud-based platform for video and audio conferencing, simple online meetings, group messaging, and mobile collaboration. Zoom offers the best video, audio, and wireless screen-sharing experience across Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile devices, Zoom Rooms, and H. From this account you can create new meetings, manage your settings, and access links to recorded meetings. Meeting sessions can be recorded for viewing at a later time.
This feature allows instructors to create useful study materials and share meeting content with students who could not attend the live session. Recordings are stored on locally on the as designated by the meeting host. These recording can then be uploaded to and reused in systems such as YouTube, OneDrive or Linked within your Canvas course. As with any technology, our office encourages you to backup any recording you wish to preserve.
